Plantersville Community Presentation

PREC partnered with Plantersville Tri-County Community Service Project Group to help community members learn more about the project. Several community members attended the meeting on August 26th, 2024 to further discuss the project.

Approximately 70 people attended the August meeting. PREC made a brief presentation and answered questions on the location of the project, solar technology, battery technology, visual vegetation buffering of the project, health and safety questions related to storms, environmental impacts, decommissioning, interconnection to Santee Cooper, and community benefits.
